Back by popular demand
The Oklahoma Center for the Humanities is thrilled to announce the First Friday Fall Bash is returning to 101 Archer this year! The event is designed to introduce University of Tulsa students to 101 Archer (TU’s premiere downtown arts campus), the Arts District, and Tulsa’s First Friday Tradition. Students can either drive themselves or hop on a free shuttle from Bayless Plaza that will take them directly to 101 Archer. We’ll have a variety of food and activities on site, some exclusive for TU students. Learn more about the evening below!
TU VIP Lounge
All TU students, faculty, and staff will have access to the second floor of 101 Archer! All attendees will get an exclusive Fall Bash tee-shirt, screen printed live on site by Flash Flood Print. We will also have several space-themed activities, including an interactive photo wall and “build-your-own solar system” art activity.
Take “a Taste”
In addition to the activities upstairs, TU affiliates will have access to food from some of the best restaurants in the Arts District. Visit your favorite restaurant or branch out and try something new. Participating restaurants include:

Arts in Tulsa
Love Broadway and wish you could see a musical like Les Miserables or Wicked? Or maybe you were in band in high school and miss orchestral music. Or, perhaps, you like to write and want to try playwriting. The OCH has invited several local arts organization to the Fall Bash so you can learn about student discounts and ways you can get involved in the local art scene!

Additionally, a handful of local arts organizations will perform in our North Gallery, providing entertainment throughout the evening. Participating organizations include:

- 7:15 – 8:15 p.m. Tulsa Opera
- 7:45 – 8:15 p.m. Tulsa Symphony

On Display at 101
We will have two exhibits on display at 101 Archer. In our North Gallery, we will debut a new exhibition called West (of Eden), which comprises of 13 oil paintings that combine the heart of the West with the writings of author John Steinbeck. INTO LIGHT Project’s Oklahoma Exhibition Drug Addiction: Real People, Real Stories will be running for a second month in our South Gallery. The exhibit highlights the impact of drug addiction in Oklahoma through graphite portraiture and narrative. Admission is free to everyone.
